Clean and Jerk, 176x1, nothing hard, also tried to get my 132 snatch up, but technology is a bitch to.

Are your weights in lbs or kgs?

Either way impressive, although kgs would be outstanding. Ace form.

Great work buddy. Very impressive.

When I get my home gym set up I'll be able to start posting some videos, so hopefully you can help me with my power clean and clean form.

Do you feel like the jerk is holding your numbers back right now? Your front squat (from your sig) is pretty impressive, and the clean portion of the lift looked fairly easy in the video, which would suggest you have a lot more in you. What are your clean and power clean numbers like alone without the jerk?

Thanks HB!!!!

My coach still managed to find a million things wrong with it...

Tofe, the jerk is def holding me back, I have found it the hardest thing to master. Heck, I can power jerk more then I can split jerk. Ive full cleaned 105kg before, so 231lbs. But no way I can jerk it.

I neglected overhead lifting way too much.

Fuzzy... your C&J was awesome...
But... I think your SQ could use a little work.. I worry b/c you seem to have a lot of buckle in those knees... Is your coaching working on that with you? This is usually a sign of weak abductor and/or gluteous medius (I think I got this right)..

The 2 things that helped me for buckling were bands around my knees - b/c it made me concentrate on holding my knees spread apart... and strengthening my hip abduction.. I found the following article to be useful..

But I think the exercise that really helped me was the Plie SQ... which is a wider version of the Sumo SQ... man, it's humbling when the bar tires you out doing those... even now, I can only do 135 x 10 before the abductors shut down...

But also.. I'm not the biggest expert around... perhaps PM Sensei and see if he agrees or has some other advice...

GL.. and great job with the work... that gym looks smokin' too...
