I drink a lot of water when i'm working out. Why is water still important during non lifting days?

It is a necessary component for your body to function.

Your body is about 3/4 water. You need to keep it that way to stay healthy.

On the subject of water - what salts and other electrolytes do I need to make sure my body retains the water, not just filters it immediately through the bod..
table salt makes you retain the water, for sure hahaha ;)
or eating lots of carbs, that'll do the trick too
