Over the past 3 weeks ive noticed i have gone from being tired and moody all the time to being happy and content .

Is this an effect from bodybuilding or am i just a weirdo lol?

I really like the workouts and what you can and cant eat, it just really appeals to me. Also in my football games i feel like 110%, its amazing.

Thanks, im going into the next stage of my training now and that is using supplements.

I need to take things seriously if i want to get the maximum gains, all the threads on this website are a constant reminder of what can be achieved so i'm grateful for that everybody.

Did you just start bodybuilding? If so, I'd say that's the culprit, but if not, it could be other things.

If you started 3 weeks ago I would not worry much about supps yet.

If you started 3 weeks ago I would not worry much about supps yet.

And your reasoning for that would be....?

Why is it less beneficial for him to start a proper multi/creatine approach off the bat than after waiting a while? I can't think of a single reason to wait. "He'll make great gains w/o them" really isn't a valid response, as his gains would be better with them.

I'm with Sidior on his opinion.
While what you said makes sense 100%, that is not the reason for holding off on supps.
When your new you should learn that lifting weights makes you bigger, period.
If you start lifting at first taking loads of supps you might mentally rely on them like a crutch.

So IMO your both right;)

I def agree that that can happen. That's why I asked sidior to explain, because that's what I suspected.

To each his own, I'm trying to tell the kid what would work the best imo, I usually don't try to influence people on stuff like that - ime he'll end up likening them to a crutch whether or not he uses them off the bat or not, if he's that kind of person. I don't know him, so I wouldn't presume to know whether or not taking supplements right off the bat could hurt him (making him rely on supplements). In all seriousness, it could go the opposite way - just the psychological effects of taking pills/powders and getting bigger could make him get more serious about his lifting, and he'd realize more and more that it's 99% the food/training/sleep, and 1% the supplements. Being that it could go both ways, I was just giving my advice. If he goes and thinks he's dependent upon them for gains, that's really his fault and nobody else's.
