If your taking 6 capsules the only real danger is your wallet losing weight.
Next time you get Creatine just get the powder, much, much cheaper for ya.

People are complete ****ing idiots and like to speak on topics about which they have no knowledge which only makes them even BIGGER idiots.

Ok, I am better now. What you are experiencing is the common general public confusion about creatine. Many people confuse creatine and anabolic steroids. They are two VERY different things. Creatine has been proven to be very safe and has no ill effects on the liver. Now, if you want to know more go here:

I think at 16 I would not recommend you use creatine. You can save it until you are a bit older.

Chris

What leads you to believe that he should wait?

what about cycleing creatine i heard that thats a good idea? what would be a good way for me to do it like this

weeks 1-2: 6 capsuls daily

weeks 3-4: 3 capsuls daily

week 5: no capsuls

repeat

kinda just a guess? or is it ok just to take 6 every day? then maybe just stop for a week every once in a while?

Because too many younger lifters get caught up in the supplement game. And, Chris, being a very good business reprsentative/owner takes time out of his day to make sure that he can bring you quality things. Not only that, but quality advice. Too many people, including me when I started lifting, want a quick fix. They think everything will make them strong. He's most likely not ready for supplements either. He's came on here and asked out dangerous it is. So, he probably didn't do a lot of research. This is just my opinion, though.

If you're going to take it, buy the powder. Every morning when you wake up, go to the sink, pour 16 ounces of water in a shaker cup (so that it's measured, or two measured cups) and take a tablespoon full (5 grams) and mix it with the water. After it's completely mixed, drink.

or better yet... Take that tablesoon and put it in your mouth dry, then chase it with some water.

That's what I do, but the first time I did it, the stuff went to the back of my throat and I threw up. Creatine never helped my lifts, so I don't take it anymore, anyways. I'm just basically spitting out instructions.

I haven't seen enough science relative to its safety in children/younger teens.

My guess is that it would be fine for a 16 year old, but when recommending I would rather err on the side of safety.

Whoever told you it is hard on the liver must not eat meat and fish since creatine is in there naturally.

You don't cycle creatine, just take 5 grams a day. Everyday. Just like sharky said.

cphafner is correct.....creatine is not going to harm your liver. There are no credible studies suggesting that creatine is liver toxic. It is a good idea to stay well-hydrated while supplementing to guard against the muscle/GI cramping that can sometimes be associated with creatine intake.

Despite creatine being "old hat" now in the supplement world, it's still a very intriguing topic to me. There are trials currently underway evaluating the efficacy of creatine in the treatment of muscular dystrophy, parkinsons disease, and Lou Gherig's disease....just to name a few.

Creatine monohydrate. Doesn't matter if you take it before or after, just take it.

I heard that consuming alcohol while on creatine can have bad effects on your liver. I know that alcohol dehydrates you and so would be a bad idea especially when on creatine but are you strictly not supposed to consume any alcohol while your on creatine or is that just another myth?
