View Full Version : Muffins- OH SO GOOD!!!

So i am sitting at home, on a Saturday night (sad i know!) and im thinking hmmmm, what can i bake.
So i pull out the muffin tin and away i went, these are awesome!
Give em a try and see how you go!

2 cups of oats
3 scoops protein powder (I used BSN Lean Dessert in Banana)
1/2 cup low fat plain yogurt
1/2 cup water
1/6 cup SF Maple Syrup
2 teaspoons splenda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 peeled, grated red apple

Stick all this in the blenda and blend until a watery consistency
Put in to muffin tin and bake at moderate heat for 20 mins, and thats that.
Makes 8 muffins

CALS- 129.2
CHO- 15.5g
FAT- 2.75g
PRO- 13g

sounds good, i might try with but will add some more protein powder and see how it goes! once im bulking of course!

ok this may sound stupid... but how much is one cup in grams and ml?
(im british)

also will rolled oats do?

UK im from across the pond mate and its hard to tell whats in grams as volume isnt a guide to weight


BTW rolled oats are the same as oatmeal :)

awesome stuff kate, is that BSN dessert protein worth buying? i always want something kind of sweet after dinner and i've looked at it at my local shop, its 30% off right now. do you have anymore dessert recipes?

Taste pretty good. i left out the apple and added a little more protien powder. great snack
