View Full Version : PWO Shake With Whole Milk...Isn't That Bad?
Wouldn't skim milk be more efficient in your PWO shake so that you have quicker absorption of the proteins/carbs you drink? I thought fat will slow that down.
Fat does slow digestion - but exactly how big of a difference is it going to make - shrugs. I keep post workout shake strictly whey and dextrose - but I'm not sure that it matters all that much.

i dont think it matters, when i was bulking and making rediculous gains my shakes would have milk, whey, peanut butter, oatmeal, and raw egg.
