Buddy of mine is taking Green Bulge...some new kind of creatine, suppose to be the best (so they say). Anyone recommend it?

Think I saw a magazine ad for that a while back. I wouldn't recommend it.

There is no "best" creatine. Creatine is creatine. If someone claims that their product is vastly superior to others', they're full of crap.

And Green Bulge is 30 servings for 25 bucks. You can get regular ol' creatine monohydrate...a 400 day supply...for 25 bucks. You can even find CEE elsewhere for the same price, but a 100 day supply. There's nothing special about Green Bulge...except for the horrible name. Sounds like what happens to The Hulk when a traveling bus of supermodels drives by.

Edit: Is it necessary to have text that huge in your signature?

yeah I should've elaborated more than just giving disapproval. Like scarz said, (as far as we know right now) there's no creatine that's better than just pure, regular creatine mono. However, we have recently seen something that indicated one of these new forms of creatine was actually WORSE than regular creatine mono. So, when using these 'new super improved' forms of creatine, not only are you assured to pay waaaay more than you would for pure mono powder, but you're also extremely unlikely to get additional benefits over mono, but it is possible you'd be getting less benefits than regular mono.

(lol @ green bulge joke, didn't catch that til I posted and spell checked)
