View Full Version : Body just wants carbs...

Hey guys, well basically ive been trying to eat between 80-115g of carbs a day. I have been doing this for a few months now and sometimes once a week ill even go upto 200g of carbs. However this past week, i cant seem to be resisting carbs, i just want to eat, its like uncontrollable. Ill have cereal/skim milk/cheese for breakfast but ill still be hungry...Or even ill have a meal and then after 1-1.5 hours later ill be hungry again.Im like constantly hungry throughout the day...Anyone no why this is happening?...

I go to the gym 6-days a week with a three 3 day split of Cardio and Lifting.

Usually i try to keep my daily intake of about 1400 cal ( 80g Fat , 115g Carb, 150 protein). I dont no what my maintanance is.

Why are you starving yourself, out of curiosity?

Seems to me you don't just need carbs - you need FOOD!

Because im not sure how much i need to eat...
I am 5.75" tall and weigh about 78kg...

I dont no how much carbs i should be eating if im trying to build muscle and loose weight at the same time. Regardless, i care how long it takes to do both...

How fast are you losing on these calories, and how do you track your intake?

I track what i eat everyday, using CalorieKing.

Built i have read, but honestly im confused, i dont no anymore how i should go about loosing my b**** body fat...

Okay, so you're averaging about a 600 calorie a day deficit from the look of things. This implies your maintenance is only 2000 calories a day.

I'm a middle-aged women who weighs less than 135 lbs soaking wet and those are MY maintenance calories.

How long have you been dieting this low?

So i guese my calorie intake is terrible...What do you think i should be taking in..As Built said it would be around the 2000cal maintanance area.
Keep in my that i eat clean calories...

Big Al - you can't build muscle AND lose weight at the SAME time. If you want o build muscle you need to eat. 1400 calories ain't gonna cut it. Pick one goal and achieve it. Then move onto the next.

wow, im 6'2 and weigh 85kg and im still skinny. I eat around 220g Protein daily, 300 ish carb, 120ish fat, like 3500-4k calories. And 6 days a week in the gym with that low cal diet? i feel bad for your muscles :(
