I'm a vegetarian (no red meat/chicken/fish/etc; eggs and dairy ok) and I find it hard to get my protein while keeping the carbs low while on a cut. I supplement with protein powders but I'd like to keep it a supplement to my meals instead of vice versa.
Any recommendations? Is anyone else here a vegetarian who has overcome the poor protein:carb ratios in soy, legumes, etc?

I eat tofu and legumes, nuts etc.
I don't have a problem maintaining calories, but it's the macro percentages.
I'd like to follow Built's diet
Average daily macros:
163g of protein,
87g of fat, and
100g of carbohydrate,
1,840 calories in total.
Lifting/HIIT days:
178g of protein,
78g of fat, and
127g of carbohydrate,
1,919 calories in total.
Rest/SS Cardio days:
144g of protein,
100g of fat, and
65g of carbohydrate,
1,735 calories in total.
but there's no way I can think of to get 100g carbs (or less) with any decent amount of associated protein.
For example, Lentils:
1 cup = 230 calories, 40g carbs, 18g protein.
I guess I'll just have to supplement more protein.
Any suggestions?
Getfit, I saw in another thread that you're a vegetarian too...what's your diet like? Macros?

Why are you so scared of carbohydrate?

I don't think he's scared of carbohydrate - he's just trying to carb cycle while cutting.
Thor, you don't NEED to cut carbs to any degree on a cut, I just do this because it's easier to manage hunger.
Personally, I pretty much live on cottage cheese, and I'm not even a vegetarian.

I didn't mean that in a literal sense. And the absence of the "s" was not intentional. lol
