50 scoops...
No seriously, I don't believe most people can simply answer that. It all depends on your goals, how many calories you taking in a day and the macro breakdown of those(along with other factors). If your already reaching your desired amount of protein, via whole foods, than there is no need to take it through supplement.
Protein supplements are to help increase your protein intake where you can not, for whatever reason, get it through whole foods.
If your desired protein intake is say 300Kcal from protein. If your easily hitting that daily from normal food intake there is no reason to supplement. If however your only coming up with say 220Kcal a day. Than you supplement enough to reach your Desired intake goal.

Whey is just food. Eat however much you need to meet your diet goals.

Uhh, sorry to post off topic, but you're a mod now? You signed up like 2 days ago? Kudos!!!!
But yeah, nobody can tell you how many scoops of whey daily you'll need. Here's what you need to do.
1) decide what you're trying to do (put on muscle, lose fat, increase strength, etc)
2) determine the appropriate diet you should be consuming to reach your goals as efficiently as possible (and we can help you with that a lot here)
3) determine how you'll reach your daily diet requirements (your total calories, and your total macronutrients - your carbs/fat/protein)
Now, #3 is where you may realize that you need some whey protein powder to meet your protein goals. But only once you've figured out #'s 1 and 2 will you be able to determine how to handle #3. You may need 4 scoops of whey a day, you very well may need none.
Let us know what you're looking to do, and we can go from there

(also, don't look at it as 'how many scoops' do I need.... we have no idea what kind of protein powder you're using, you should (actually, you WILL) need to determine the actual grams of protein needed daily, and you can then correspond your scoops to that. If your protein powder was muscle milk (I wouldn't call it a protein powder but many do) it would have less protein per scoop than a typical whey protein bucket, so 'scoops' is a bad way to assess your needs).
