Hi, I saw redFury post a high calorie lunch recipe. Does anyone have any high calorie dinners they would like to share? Thanks.

3 pot pies :), about 1500cals.

.5 lb tri tip roast
generous helping(6 or 7) red potatoes w/butter
6 grilled asparagus w/butter
10 oz glass of milk

roughly 1200-1500 cals depends on the amount of butter used, and which type of milk. if you are bulking, use whole milk.

Yeah, I have dinners that can hit the 2000 calorie mark. Some are in my journal. Some that come to mind are:

-1 lbs of Hamburger Helper (meat, helper, additives like milk)
-Milk (drink til you hit 2000)

I also ate a 5lbs box of Lasagna from Stouffer's. I am pretty sure I easily hit 2000+ calories just eating that alone.

Corned beef hash, 3 eggs, 1 english muffin, strawberries, and milk for breakfast also reach 2000 calories with ease. Serving size for corned beef hash is 2 or 3 at least and each one if over 500 calories.

Eating is my hobby. :D

heres an idea for dinner...

large rib eye steak, about 16 ounces... fry up to your desire in olive oil with whatever spices, when its done fry some onions and mushrooms in butter, apply that on the steak with a large portion of Jack cheese, on the side have a huge sweet potato with butter and wash down with a glass of whole milk, chocolate preferably. id estimate around 2500-3000.

about 5 oz of beef top sirloin filet
3 oz of grilled chicken
3.5 oz of whole wheat pasta (I like macaroni)
Alfredo Sauce
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Saute the broccoli and mushrooms in the EVOO and then add in cooked chicken and steak. When pasta is done add it to the veggies and meat and pour in the alfredo sauce. Mix it up and let it cook for another minute or so.

I just had it for dinner tonight....so damn good and around 1300 calories (too lazy to look up actual macros)

Yay whole foods :D

I notice that there is a lot of saturated fat in your meals. Personally, I dont mind much saturated fat but I tend to at least try to lower my intake of those types of fats. I personally would rather get my calories from a sweet potato, veggies with olive oil, and things like that. Unless you use lean meats and skim cheese...
