Has anyone seen the Nike Zoom Challenge on Facebook (it may be elsewhere too)? You do a line drill on the bball court, running and touching the baseline and foulline 3 times.

People post videos to have the "best times"... has anyone seen or tried this? Seems like a good drill for GPP and I'd like to try it soon.

I do pyramids in the morning, far boundary to far boundary sprint, 15 push-ups, sit-ups, military presses and side-straddle hops, sprint back, do 14 of each...etc, down to 0 and back to 15. Works well.

Sounds like a drill I did on my high school basketball team. They were awful then too.

Yeah the reason I ask is that the times are awful. I haven't tried it personally, but I'm sure I could get faster than the top times.

Right, thats exactly it... just a short line drill. I played bball in high school, but like I said the times for even the pro athletes seemed really slow.

First off, here a vid of Steve Nash doing this. For anyone that has ever done these, Nash is going at maybe 80% speed.

Here's the best times submitted:
Mike Spearman 9.10
Feroz Qayyum 9.17
Steve Nash 9.23
Ben Warren 9.23
Kevin Tutie 9.37

I can't get the videos of mike or Feroz on here, but let me tell you they look slow. Like, an average athlete in high school can do this slow. Can anyone on here beat those times? I haven't tried it yet myself.

So I ran a 9.2 after a heavy SQ/DL day... on the first try. With fresh legs and better form I'm sure I could go sub 9. Those times are just plain slow after all!
