Hey after eating good for a few weeks ive decided to cut.As i feel fat. Im 5'6 and 164lbs. I wanna get down to 140. Now ive got 2 main problems. The first being. My maintainance calories. Ive tracked them and they vary way to much. On some days i just used to eat burgers etc well on most days. So my cals were 1400 or around there. Now how the heck do i cut if i was to cut 20% of those. Now on my tracking site it says what my theoretical maintainance calories should be. Shall i just deduct 20% of those and cut using that figure? Also would cutting at 1360 calories be considered extreme.

Easy blunt solution.
Eat more regular healthy foods. AKA not burgers

What's wrong with say a 93/7 sirloin patty with a little ketchup/mustard, and a piece of bread?

Depends on the burger... I've added good weight with lean ground beef, wheat bread and veggies
