Well i was reading a couple of articles on the forums and decided its time to get in shape.I plan to cut weight but i need help. When tracking your maintainance calories for a week suppose at the end of the week your starting weight has increased or decreased how would you determine your maintainance calories then baring in mind you have eat everything you normally would and you have not restricted yourself at all.
Any help would me much appreciated

If you gain one pound then you were about 3500 over maintence, so you can assume you were eating about 500 cals over each day. Same if you lose weight.

so basically if i gain weight i take the cals i have and deduct 3500 from my weekly calories to get maintainance. And if i cut weight i add 3500 to my end of week cals to find maintainance.Correct?
