Hi guys,

Just A quick question,

I am trying to lose weight though diet and cardio, but also doing weights to tone up, but i dont know wether to have protein shakes, will this help muscles repair or just make me more bulky?

also i am not really a fan of milk, but realise i am going to have to drink it how much do you think i should be drinking per day.

i m 5,10 and 256 flabby,

Protein shakes don't do anything that chicken (or any other high protein food) won't do. They're not magic. They can't "make you bulky." It's just protein. If you are having trouble getting enough protein, they are a quick and easy way to do so. If not, you don't need them.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that you have to drink milk, but you don't. I hate milk too, and I never drink it... ever.

i should be ok on the protein front then i practically live of chicken.
Its not that i thought i had to drink milk sorry if it came across that way.

Its just with it being quite good for you i thought i should start drinking it.
I have to start eating vegtables aswell, at the minute i dont eat any, i absoloutley hate them but to progress i am going to have to start eating more healthy.
