Hey, I remember reading somewhere that by the time you take your post-wo shake that the special 'window' is closed and remember it saying that its better to keep pre-wo nutrition in top form. Can anyone expand on this and offer good pre-wo meals?

Thanks

There was some study done showing that if your pre workout nutrition is what it should be, post workout nutrition isn't quite as important. Either way, you should make sure both pre and post workout meals are what they should be. And that is...

Protein and slow (complex) carbs pre workout (like 60 mins before is okay), and then quick protein and quick carbs (like a whey/dextrose shake) immediately post workout.

If you want some info on the pre/post window read up on John Berardi articles. www.johnberardi.com
