I really enjoy reading through everyone's training journals so i thought I would contribute to this section. Quick info on me- 24 years old, 6'2", 205 lbs, 12% bf. goals- back to the basics. strength, size, and perfecting the big 3. I am currently on week 3 of Bill Star's novice 5x5 program. So far I am doing really well and should be setting some new 5 rep PR's next week. I am currently in Ar Ramadi, Iraq and will be for another month so the amount of calories I am taking in isnt nearly as many as I could be if I were at home. When I get back to cali i should start seeing a significant size and strength increase- more food, more sleep, no more patrols in 130 degree weather with 80 lbs of sh-t on my back. So.....here is where im at on my last workout of week 3. If you are familiar with 5x5, I started fairly conservatively and put my original 5RM's at week 6 so I wouldnt kill myself out here.
