Great job!

You know it is funny, I set a PR on a very low box squat today and when I was done I was PISSED!!! I kicked the box and hit the rack. I barely got the lift right out of the hole and I think it just spiked some adrenalin.

Exactly. I can't believe all the negative comments I get about squatting in jeans. Tight jeans are awesome to squat in. Try it, you'll see.

yeah, it's an alright squat I guess, but that hat must help at least 50 pounds.

Believe it or not, tight pants actually provide more stability at the bottom of the movement and I can usually do a little more weight, too.
Don't take it as a fact, it's just my personal experience.
I've only squatted two times wearing jeans and I loved it :D

HB, I hope you feel better about yourself!
making us feel like little girls...... :swear:

Big squat, plan to do any full gear meets? I bet in time you would hit huge numbers.

Dude.. I can't even walk around in tight jeans.. besides the feelings to the little boys... they rip as I walk.. if I squatted in them they would be shreds... so I still don't understand the physics of how they are so supportive for you...

But hey... keep on, keeping on... b/c that was one fantastic squat bro!!
AWESOME man... just awesome..

And ya gotta love that wobble walk back into the rack... almost thought you weren't going to make.. a sure sign of a max effort.

Nothing, in fact I told him not to try to bail me out in the event of a failure. I would just go down to the pins. It is the walk back and rack that is the dangerous part. Basically I just needed him to make sure I didn't miss one of the hooks on the rack. It's a horrible thing if you miss the rack on one side with that weight. I don't even want to think about it.

finally got to watch the vid at home (it was blocked by work)
but it defiantly looked parallel to me.

Those particular jeans are very expandable with strong seams. They do not offer any support worth considering. They just tighten up around the quads as I descend. I just like the feeling of them -no real good reason other than that.
That wobble back does scare me. As everybody knows, you have to get your feet in narrower than the wide stance to walk it back and you're right, after that max effort it is very VERy scary. The spotter's job is to YELL at me if I'm getting ready to miss one of the hooks on the re-rack.

I think it's right at parallel BUT tell that to Chub. He listed it on the WBB lifting Wall but didn't link the vid because of the inability to confirm because of the bad angle.

nice squat. i take it the jeans give a little bit of the brief effect at the bottom?
