Wow. Im glad I didnt purchase the weight gainer. I just made my own shake and its pretty damn good considering it packs over 1000 calories!!!

Recipe as follows.
2 Cups Milk
2 Scoops Whey (I used chocolate)
2 TBSP NATURAL Peanut Butter
2 TBSP Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Ground Dry Oats
1/2-1 Banana

Blend and enjoy. The oats tend to settle so mix it up as you drink it.

I have been drinking that for a while. Just make sure you eat plenty of fruit and high fiber foods. Or you will get clogged up fast.

What is the nutritional breakdown on that? Protein, carbs, fat etc....? I would split that shake into 2 servings.

getb1g
09-23-2007, 07:38 PM
estimate.

50-70g carbs
75g protein
30-40g healthy fats

Bako i said its too much for me in one sitting as i eat 8-9 times a day. My calories are anywhere between 5-6000 when im training and 4-5000 when im not

Dont see why people need to shove back calories just fr the sake of it. You wont grow any faster :)

Stumprrp
09-26-2007, 10:37 PM
wont grow, but you will deff. get strong and fat! HELL YEAH

this is a good general shake recipe man, my best gains were when i was bulking and taking a 1300 calorie PWO shake.

Some of us like to have our calories spread out throughout the day. I'd rather eat 60 grams of protein per serving than 120. Just seems like a waste to not take advantage of as much protein as possible.

Grind the oats up in a coffee bean grinder. Makes them into a nice powder.

Is 1000 calories supposed to be a lot?

I think I have that condition where you don't feel full because I can eat a pizza, say, that has well over 2000 calories in it and not feel full up. I struggle to have any meal that's below 1000 calorie's because I have like 5 rounds of bread with the meal. And I'm still a skinny little ****!!

With 2 "scoops" whey you mean with the Cup it comes with or Tablespoons?
Tablespoons doesn't seem enough, but the Cup may be a bit too much.. just wondering.

If your sure you want to lose weight then do a search on cutting. Its pretty much the body building term of diet to lose weight. and maybe ask built she is female and chiseled one of the best 6 packs I have ever seen. And I agree you look good the way you are but I guess if its for some weight class it makes sense. Just don't turn into one of those tread mill girls that go home and eat celery all day and you can count every bone in there body.

LOL! I find that eating before lifting helps the digestive system. It gets all the stuff mixed up and easier to digest. Thus making it easier to poo.
