Like you all know, I don't like to post just to post *looks at Tryska* but I will try to keep my journal updated. I would like to bring down my weight to about 170-175 near competing shape.
How many weeks? As long as necessary...
My bodyfat I'm guessing is around 13-14%, my waist is 34". Waist should end up at about 30-31" vs 28-29" when I competed.
For my diet, I'm going to try TKD. No cardio for now. I will get a tan in the early days of summer. I will post before picture soon.

Went for a training today, I took a big a$$ glass of gatorade before it...
I did my personal best on deadlift with 405 x 5 so no strenght lost yet.
Weight is at aprox. 198-199.
No carb craving so far, I'm eating bacon almost every meal and I loooooove it... must not be very healthy heh ? I'm gonna start taking some tuna with olive oil soon...

I haven't changed anything to my routine, this is how it look like now:
Training 1:
Deadlifts 3-4 sets
Chin ups until I reach 35-50 reps
BB rows or 1 arm row 3 sets
biceps... 9 sets

Training 2:
any 3 exercice for chest
triceps ... 9 sets

Training 3:
Squats 3-4 sets
Legpress 3 sets
Legextension 3 sets

sometime I'll put bicep/tricep on a different day , depends on what I am feeling like doing...

No, cause Yates recommended me doing them.. and I kinda feel it working more.
Went to do my grocerie today... people were looking at me with my bacon loaded wagon :eek: I met Vox on my way out and he back slaped me behind the head when he saw all the bacon (I followed to kick him in the nuts) but then I turned back to replace some bacon with some turkey... that's the story.

You ever try walnut oil?? walnut oil + tuna = ace, and it is mostly polyunsat fats.

Weighted myself today at 199-200 :confused: I did seem to be more cut this morning, I could actually see my lower chest coming out. No strenght lost still, did 3 sets with 275 with ease on the benchpress and I only took 20g of carb before workout.

Fatty, post your workouts so we can follow your progress. Why 9 sets for biceps after back??? How the fook can you get something out of 9 sets? I would have to force myself when trying to do like 3-4 sets after back.

Did my leg workout today, still no strenght lost but weight is down to 195-196.
front squats 295 x 3 + back squat 295 x 4-5 for 3 sets
Did leg press with 11 plates a side x 6 for 3 sets
leg extension x 3
and leg curl
conclusion: good workout, ripness is on its way, I feel ace and dieting is piece of cake... errr bacon

I have people around me telling me that I've leaned up ... I weight somewhere close to 194. Worked out my bicep and tricep yesterday. I'm starting to have a bit of craving lately, my roommates eat pizza in front of my nose and I can almost taste it so much the smell hits me. My father ate some chinee restaurant as well... "Marc, do you want some ?" "No pa, I'm dieting.." "Can you eat anything at all" "Nothing I can buy from those restaurant.. its kool, just eat and I'll watch" *sniff* . I haven't cheated once in my TKD diet so far and I'm going strong until the end.

ericg; I didn't try your walnut stuff... I'm ok with olive oil and ain't eating tuna. I started at about 200.
Yesterday did 405 on deadlift x 5, so about the same strenght. My waist has gone down 1"1/2 since I started dieting, now sitting at 33" and still melting. There is a show on april 20th, I would enter but I doubt I'd be on time. I'm going to be there no matter what... be it for competing or simply watching. Notice for all people near the Moncton area (Nova Scotia and Quebec bros come for a trip in New-Brunswick to meet me, Vox, Frankster and Maddog) We'll be giving free autograph and selling some of our used underwear. I'm going to start tanning soon I think, I'm gonna ask sponsership from a local gym see if they can provide me with pre-contest tanning and provide their hottest female employee to oil me (vs having Frankster).

TKD kicks ass.. down to 192 and abs are begging to pop. Did benchpress today, flat bench with 295 x 4-5 for first set. Also did abs , everything is perfect so far.

Weight is 191-192.
Did leg day today. My back was a bit weaker, I think this is due to not carbing enough pre-workout and also because I walked alot in the last few days so it tired my back. Did squat today...
first set was 365 x 3 + 315 x 4-5 then it kept going down 365 x 2 + 315 x 4....
Other leg exercice went well though... did legpress easy with 10 plates each side.
I also started tanning yesterday...
My legs look wicked, tear drop and everything.

Been dieting for 2 weeks. I'm gonna post the before picture when I get my computer (probably this week). I'm not gonna post any in-between pics... just final pictures.

I lost my before picture by deleting a temp directory.. I look a bit red right now since I burned in the tanning machine, took a 2 day break. I have my computer back. Yesterday did back, awesome workout overall... did 405 x 4 and 'almost' got 5.. so strenght is almost the same, I weighted at 192 yesterday, I'm currently on 3000 cal./day, if I don't drop to 190 by sunday then I'm gonna decrease my cal. intake to 2500.

Weight is now 187-188. I guess the 192 was just water weight. I'm starting to looking pretty sweet, bicep veins were coming out today, people at the gym are starting to ask if I'm preparing for a show. My strenght still is ok, incline pressed 225 x 6 for 3 sets (no spot except the last set).

Olay crap, weight is dropping fast... I'm down to 185-186. Sure it was on a different scale than usual but it seemed legit. Did my arms workout today, insane... biceps veins are popping, definition and striation are starting to appear on my shoulders. Midsection is not bad but still measure 33" and that pisses me off. My strenght was good today, curled more than usual. Tricep were ok without being phenomenal. peace

Did leg today, my back has weakned again... squat has gone down a bit, did my sets with 315 for sets of like 6-7. Legpress is still awesome, over 1000 pounds today.

Back day, overall I would say that it was a good workout... really went to failure on all sets. Did 405 x 4 so not too bad. Weight is at 184, I look firm but not yet ripped.

My computer was broken, didn't have much access to a computer. I'm also going to take summer classes so I've started reading books and sh!t and I try to do less computer time wasting.
Good news, I found the before pics I had deleted in the recycled bin... will post soon (I know, I said that before, too bad). Weight was 184-185, the waist seems like it is finally giving up and is a little under 33". Strenght wise, today I did 275 x 4 + 1 spotted + 225 x 5 for my first set then it gradually went lighter. So not bad but I lost a bit of strenght, nothing to whine about though... I look a deal lot better.

Went for a arm workout today, was kinda shitty if you ask me. I think it was because I ate chocolate preworkout instead of my liquid carb that I usually get. Guess what... yes I have pictures taken. I also took some of the gym buds.

Wow man thats crazy, I didnt know that you were following a TKD. Thats really interesting. Are you taking in your carbs PRE or POST workout? Just wondering. I am doing something similar to a TKD right now actually. I am eating Atkin's style and then taking in 40g postworkout from dextrose/maltodextrin, and then eating a big carbup meal every 3-4 days. Really working well so far. How are your results on a TKD? Are you carbing up at all? What is your carb source like? :D:D

chicken, been dieting for about 4 weeks I think, maybe 5.. dunno... as long as strenght is good I'm not really worried about losing muscle.
Monstar, taking carbs pre workout only... TKD is fun, no cravings. I usually just take a serving of my PhospagenHP creatine which is high in sugar and then I'll add a small apple unless I'm only doing arms that day.

Oh okay youre taking in around the same amount of carbs as me then, is Phosphagen around 27g carbs? I am taking in 40g postworkout to aid in my recovery. Do you think that 40g carbs is enough with 40g whey protein postworkout? Please just reply in my journal, I am trying to get opinions. :):)

Did back today, strenght was about the same I'd say... weight is 180. I am at my parents home right now so I changed my diet a bit by substituing some stuff with salmon. Calories are always around 2500cal.

Tonight I decided that I would start eating junk food until tomorrow night. Why ? Because tomorrow we're going out, I'm going to get drunk too and I don't want to give a sh*t about my diet for a day. Since I'm not entering any shows soon, who gives if I get to 4-5% 1day to 1 week later. So ya, I just went to the Tim Horton (its a donut restaurant for non canadian folks) and took out some 2 giant donut called Bowtie. They are a bit like eclairs except bigger and lot more whipping cream and chocolate topping. I swear all that sh*t gave my heartache pretty quick... its been so long since I ate junk food that I think my body got unused to sweet stuff, I felt like puking. Tomorrow night its gonna be pizza and hard liquor... Oh, and another reason for me to do this is that I want to see how I look with carbs in me.

Its been a while since I had fun like last night. I was wasted, so much that I lost my coat :cry:, the bitch at the club's counter wouldn't cooperate and let me in so I could go look for my coat myself since I had lost my ticket. Almost got thrown out, one of the bouncer I knew talked me into coming back the next day for it. Head hurts this morning. Back to TKD now, gonna do my arms today.
