I tried going for a measly 185 on bench and failed. I did a little shy of 180 last week and than hit it again today. As much as I have gotten stronger in the past month (my 1rm before was 175, and than it fell to 160 a month ago, and now a little bit under 180) I still feel its not enough. It sure is a good drive but it bothers the hell out of me that I didnt hit it!
I did manage to get my chinups up... I guess its not all a loss.

hey man, it happens to everyone.....read my journal, you'll see a lot of missed bench 1 RMs lol
Just curious, what was your set/rep scheme look like? You said you hit the same weight as last week and missed heavier one today - try doing lighter weights first.

I know ow you feel man, 2 days ago I tried 1rm DL @ 405 and got it off the ground and was about 10 degrees from being completely upright..f-ing sucked

I missed a 1RM deadlift yesterday and it pissed me right off

Get used to it. The stronger you get, the harder it's gonna get to break records.
