i would go with EFA-1, much better i think.
I took 1 right when i woke up then 1 30 minutes before workout.
This product is only good with proper diet and excercise.
never take what the bottle tells you to take.
the dude at the GNC store said they've been taken off the market (i canada at least) for a new version to come out as the old was had some 'problems'.
I hear you'd better buy a box of Viagra while you're using Hydroxycut as it can give you tool problems.

I take Ripped Fuel, i can still get American version. I would suggest it , i have never taken Hydroxycut but have takken Labrada version and felt ill to. Ripped Fuel, is great no bad effects. Sometimes i have to admit I do get alot moodier then I usually am but thats it. I love it. Its really helping me burn the fat that i could never get rid of.

Hydroxycitric acid is only supposedly good for preventing lipogenesis from carbs and suppressing the appetite. However, ephedrine decreases glycogen uptake, and is best taken with a low carb diet and a caloric deficit if taken for weight-loss. Ephedrine is also an appetite suppressant. Therefore, Hydroxycuts is overpriced **** if your diet is in order.
I have used HCA (hydroxycitric acid), and noticed a decrease in appetite. Lyle McDonald believes it helps to decrease lipogenesis during a carb-up. HCA alone probably has some use.
If you want to add something OTC to an ECA stack, try some yohimbe and be careful so you don't have a heart attack. Also, use a low-carb diet while taking ECA --- the ECA will make much more of a difference with low to moderate carbs.
Don't waste your $ on l-carnitine --- it will not be beneficial to most people and is expensive. Just a gimmick to make their product seem more fancy.
