I'm becoming increasingly concerned about the amount of saturated fat I'm eating, especially since I started to eat alot of PB and mayo.
Anyone know of any low saturated alternatives?

Well for mayo...
(All the following are trans-fat free)
Hellmann's Light has 0.5g saturated fat per serving, 45 cal per Tbsp (15g).
Miracle Whip has 0g saturated fat per serving, 40 cal per Tbsp (16g).
Miracle Whip Light has 0g saturated fat per serving, 25 cal per Tbsp (16g).

For Peanut Butter...
Peanuts are basically fat. I'd stick with 'natural' peanut butter if I were you and not worry about it. Or you can trade the fat for sugar and thickeners, and get the stuff reviewed here (Better 'n Peanut Butter): http://www.slashfood.com/2007/03/14/is-better-n-peanut-butter-better/

Peanut butter doesnt contain that mch saturated fat... just about all of it is mono.

Although saturates are important to certain hormones(such as testosterone), too many saturates do increase LDL cholesterol and are linked to colon cancer.

Thanks, I've compared some mayos and I think the saturates are actually minimal and comparing the calories - theres way less calories for those with low or none saturates.
I pretty sure I'm fine, just abit of a scare. Most bodies recommend no more than 10% of calorie intake - I think my problem was seeing saturates compared to the calories of an average person.

Most of PB is mono, but the stuff I've got still has 10g saturated in 100g

Good rule of thumb: 1/3 poly, 1/3 mono, 1/3 saturated.
