Hello,
I am starting to train again, and I want to get my diet back into order. I have used fitday in the past to calculate my daily calorie requirements....however in the past I never lost fat the way I thought I would. By undercutting fitdays recs by about 500 cal....I never fully cut down.
Is fitday accurate?

you probably underestimated the calories in your food. i got pretty good results with fitday once i figured out how portions are sized, and ive gotten better at estimating what i eat.
if you are underestimating, cut further to compensate.

FitDay can be as accurate as you want to be. Since FitDay is not always right regarding calories, I enter in every single thing I eat as a custom food. That way, I don't have any problems.
