question about whey and protein bars..home...made...

so if you mixed a bunch of stuff together to make home made protein bars, and you added some whey protein powder to it then baked it, will the protein cook away or like die? (be destroyed , whatever)

why do you need to bake it? There is a great recipe for a homemade protein bar in this forum that requires no baking, just a little stovetop action to melt the PB and honey.:thumbup:
