Thermos for protein shake?

It's about a half hour drive home from the gym for me, sometimes longer depending on traffic. I'd like to have a protein shake already made, and then be able to leave it in my car, but not have it go warm while I'm in the gym. So I'm considering buying a Thermos bottle for my protein shaker. Has anybody tried that?

My stepmom has these cups that have an open hole in the center to submerge a conical icepack. Thay're actually pretty useful despite their whole infomercial type feel.

But yeah, I have one of those things Altephor mentioned. Should work fine.
