View Full Version : adding "stuff" to whey protein?

Hey guys, i take regular old whey protein every once and a while and i was wondering if there is anything you can put in it to spice up the flavor and maybe add a little more protein? the stuff i take is from GNC and its chocolate flavor.

Milk? Try dumping it in a shake or something.

I like to throw bannanas, PB , Mix berries, Cinnimon, Ice cream, Oats or even a shot of olive oil into the blender.

Sometimes mixing it with OJ tastes good.

I know a guy who put canned tuna in with his shake, i DO NOT Support this lol

x2 for everything (except the tuna - that's ****ing disgusting, sir).

my favorite is a banana, 4 nice sized strawberries, 2 scoops of chocolate or vanilla whey, a good amount of ice, and about half a cup of water...
mix in the blender, and enjoy a nice post work out or midday protein smoothy.

I use ON cookies n cream + milk + peanut butter + instant oatmeal (unflavored). I then wash it down with a banana. It's a killer shake.

Personally, I like to put in some frozen berries (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) and some juice with mine (I use ON 100% strawberry), and maybe some BCAA stack to take right after a workout. Tastes great and gets those anabolic hormones flowing!

i second that, i usually put in half a cup of mixed frozen fruit, and i too like the on 100% whey strawberry as well as some honey and 2 tbsp pb.
