If anyone here has some tips or expirence from fighting could you please give me a hand?

Lately at my highschool a group of "scene hardcore kids" have been harassing me to the point where there texting me 24/7, leaving me messages, making facebook profiles about me and then this week they started harassing girls Im close to. And today they were like throwing rocks at a girl im really good friends with so I walked over there and knocked one of them on there ass and they all formed a little gang on one side of me and started yelling things at me calling me a pussy so I put my stuff on the ground and stepped up infront of them and they all backed away and thats the final straw

Were suppose to fight friday and I dont know who they are bringing but Im bring some friends of mine and I want to know if theres any thing really important to remember when it goes down.

Im bigger then all of them, height and weight and muscle wise so I know that will help me, Im really quick and do endurance training on a punching bag. I know how to get up quickly if I get knocked down and how to take hits but yeah any help is appricated

Im just kind of unsure about willing to get suspended for 3 days for fighting on school grounds but if I have to I will, they confront me everyday pretty much and I dont back down but im just sick of it, they think like 10 people standing there will make me back down

Ok a few things. Keep in mind this is coming from someone that trains MMA.

First, this is pretty stupid. If they keep harassing you just go tell an administrator. They're emo fags. Who cares if they tell you you're being a bitch?

After you do tell an administrator, if nothing happens, here's what you do.
Wait till there is just 1 emo kid harassing you. Get in his face and run your mouth and really try to get under his skin. Provoke him like hell until he hits/pushes/whatever. Then hit him really hard.

As far as this high school gang war ****, don't do that. I've heard so many times of something like this happening and then someone bringing a knife/gun/whatever. I wouldn't put it past these kids.

If you do get in a fight, it's kind of hard to explain what to do online, but assuming you're semi-coordinated and relatively powerful ... just throw punches. Don't try and bring the fight to the ground and tackle or anything. Just keep aiming for the other guy's face and punching straight ahead (don't throw hooks). Protect your face with your hands and bat away anything that's thrown at you, but don't be overly defensive.

If the other kid starts the fight, you can at least avoid assault charges, but you're going to almost definitely get suspended.

Just go tell an administrator. Nobody is going to support the emo kids, everyone hates emo kids. Plus, things like this blow over after a couple weeks. Plus, if you do tell an administrator and nothing happens, then you actually might be able to avoid getting suspended if you do get in a fight.

there ya go. when you see the kid by himself hurrying by you, confront him then if you want to go through with it. that way if he starts you throw him a sick beating, if he backs down in front of people he looks like a bitch. The whole group thing usually isn't a good idea. You may be tough, but it's hard fighting with fists coming from all directions.

If you go into a fight afraid of getting hit your going to lose, doesn't mean just leave your chin out there.

You can't just learn to fight its something that takes years and years of training before you really even understand the concept but just remember that your fists aren't your only weapons theres elbows and knees ( I wouldn't throw a kick unless you've been trained on how to)

Anyways, make sure you have enough guys with you, so you aren't overwhelmed by numbers. Also make sure those idiots don't bring any knives or other weapons.

Do they have a leader type guy. If so I would try to talk to him before this thing goes down. See if violence can be avoided, if it can't let him know that whatever happens that you are going to throw him a beating every chance you get. Let him know that he and his friends may get you as a group but you are going to see him alone and everytime you do, he is going to get the crapped kicked out of him. Everytime his friends mess with one of yours, your going to kick the crap out of him, only him. You see a Facebook page, your throwing him a beating. Get the picture?

Sounds interesting... I hope you're able to crack their skulls in. That is, if fighting is unavoidable. I'm pretty scared that they'll have weapons though; if they're little emo kids like you said they have no muscle and would have to rely on weapons. Which makes me think you shouldn't show up. Then when you don't show up I'm sure they'll say something about it at school, then it's skull crushing time.

Don't egg them on and then not show up either, because then they'll just call you a pussy. When they tell you to show up at x time in y place, just say no. If they harass you about that, just laugh and walk away. By fighting them, you're just doing exactly what they want you to do, and considering they all won't face you by themselves, chances are you're just giving them an opportunity to fight dirty. It will make them much more frustrated if you refuse to fight them.

That said, if someone throws a punch at you during your daily activities by all means make them regret it, and make them regret it hard.

This same crap happened last year (more or less) with my little brother. I think it ultimately ended badly because of the way he handled it.

At my high school there was a group of rednecks that formed some wanna-be gang. A couple of them bothered my a black friend and my brother got them to leave the kid alone. They ended up doing the same **** as the emo kids and kept bothering him all the time.

So at lunch one day, my brother nonchalantly talked a lot of **** to the 'redneck leader'. The kid ended up taking a swing at him, and my brother knocked him out, gave him a concussion, and sent him to the hospital (I credit my coaching of Muay Tai).

Sounds great. What happened? He got suspended for 10 days. The kid tried to press charges and we needed to get a lawyer. There were 2 months of "show up at the flag pole" fights with rednecks. One kid came to my house with a gun (granted he was almost killed ... they stopped doing that when they realized my dad was a decorated army ranger), and during several fights guns were drawn.

Although I'm sure it feels good to give these kids what's coming, it's really not worth it.

Just walk up to the biggest one, and say very clearly, "You xxx (be creative and offensive). If you want to fight me, you and me, right now, go ahead and take a swing and I'll put you on the ground. If you're too much of a bitch to do it right now, then **** off." Make sure a lot of people see it. If they continue to bother you, tell an administrator that they're throwing rocks at girls.

After that, I'd follow Bill's advice. Just keep beating the hell out of the 'leader' of the group until they leave you alone. Kick his ass randomly between classes--make sure he's always looking over his shoulder.

I'm not sure about showing up to a scheduled fight, as they almost never actually go down, but beating some emo ass is honestly one of the few things that will solve this. I've literally never been in a physical fight myself, but I had a friend that went through something similar to this. Buncha low-life at my school were bugging him and one day after school a kid got up in my buddies face and pushed him against a locker. My friend gave him two blasts to the face and broke the kids nose.

After that he didn't have anymore problems.

I know fighting isn't usually the answer, but usually when emo's are involved going to any "authority" will do asbolutely nothing. The could care less about any rules and will probably pick on him even more if he tattles.

as someone else who trains in mma, none of the comp stuff works. when getting into a fight, make an example of them. there's no rules and ****, go for the balls and headbutts and break an arm at the elbow to make an example then people dont **** with you. if you get into a fight, you make sure you win, biting, ball crunching whatever. This is the funniest thread I've read in a while.

I had one physical altercation in high school. Some kids were picking on some other smaller nerdy kid, trying to slap his books out of his hand. I spun the leader around, picked him up by his throat, slammed him against a wall and told him I'd tear his throat out if I even thought he picked on the kid again.

You're going to get hurt if you go to this fight. They've already backed down from you in numbers, so they will come to this fight with a plan. Most likely a weapon. Maybe they'll just videotape it and provoke you to fight first, then press charges.

Agreed. Fighting doesn't solve all that much. OP have you considered what might happen if you take a swing at someone's head and miss the head but catch them flush in the throat? Or you knock someone down and his skull hits a rock? Or someone brings a weapon to the fight and kills somebody? I'm no lawyer but I'd say a murder rap (or accessory to one) doesn't sound like a sure-fire way to success in later life.

Seems like you feel the need to beat them in a fight to prove to them that you are "the man". That implies that you care about their opinions. Is that really true? Do you care what they think of you? Songsangnim has got it right. Is it worth it for the risk that you really hurt one of them? If one of them does suffer a serious injury (because you really are much bigger and stronger) then it will be their parents that press the assault charge. A criminal record for violent crime will be a handicap for all kinds of things in the future. And if they do decide that weapons are the equaliser to your strength ...... Do you want to be in hospital with a stab wound? Or worse??

Today at lunch 2 of the kids walked up to me while I was eating and said come outside, I did and the main emo kid was there and threw a punch to the jaw and I stood still and didnt budge. Unfortunatly his friends yelled fight too early and the principal and security came and I couldnt hit back, but since I didnt hit him back, he is now suspended for 5 days and has 5 saturday schools and I am off free. We had to talk to the principal after he hit me and they found out he threatened to jump me and stab me and the police are watching him so its pretty much over....

In all honesty I know how to move around punches but would typically wait for the first punch myself. Part of it is I don't like to sucker punch because I'm strong and would feel horrible if he wasn't truly ready for it and I caused significant damage, and the other reason is that if you let someoen swing first, they're the ones who started the fight and you just defended yourself.

I once had an organised fight, when i was about 8. There was 3 of us verse 7 of them, the 'ring leader' was the only one i really hated (as he destroyed my snowman the previouse year), and i knew if i got him good the others would look down on him and he would loose his confidence. I was most organised becauce i had set up a little trap before hand, which consisted of a full bucket of dog ***** mixed with water to make it more easily absorbed. Me and my friend later met them in an appartment complex. The ring leader immediately started being his cocky self and started with little pushes against us, at this point we stepped back and my brother above us on a balcony tipped the ***** all over him. We then legged it for a few meters to find they were not persuing, but he was the laughingstock of his group. I got a little splashback but i am ok ty with no long term affects.

ya it is, reminds me of the old days. Although, at least where I grew up, there was a *way* higher turnout to scheduled fights. Nowhere near 100%, but easily 50%.

And as silly as scheduled fights are, I think a lot of people here aren't really seeing this the right way. It sounds stupid to most older people, even to me now at early/mid20's, because if you're mad enough to fight you should be throwing punches w/o hesitation, not setting up a start time for later on. But back when you're in highschool, or elementary, it's a different thing. The fights aren't always because you're so pissed, it's the code of the schoolyard type stuff. It's not rational, someone wants to fight you and you can't really fight at school w/o it getting broken up asap, and getting in trouble. You schedule a fight because of that - and a ton of the fights aren't anger fights they're more 'pride' (poor choice of words but you get the point) fights. Hell, of any fight I've been in my life, including college ones, it's always been stupid tough guy stuff and never about raw anger. I'd actually be interested to see what I could do out of raw anger now that I think of that lol....

A guy from my town got into it with another guy at a party last year, punched him just right in the nose and killed the guy. He's now in jail due to involuntary manslaughter all thanks to a stupid ass drunken fight that he actually didn't even start in the first place.

Probably head trauma. Despite what Hollywood flicks may say, you can NOT push the cartilage of the nose into the brain. You CAN cause brain trauma/hematoma from striking the nose hard enough, but the cartilage will be mashed to pulp.

Maybe you don't. When I was 18 I didn't smoke, drink, take any sort of drug, or have promiscuous sex, so in that sense my morals fit with theirs. When I would explain this to people, that I wouldn't allow foreign substances to control my actions (this was mainly in reference to drugs), people would assume I was edge. However, I never had the desire to hurt people that did drink or take drugs or smoke. Now not all sxe kids are violent, but the ones that are make all of them look bad. It's kind of like religious zealots. Not all religious people are crazy, but the ones that are make all of them look bad.

As for how you can hold yourself up on some sort of moral high ground while intentionally hurting people on a regular basis, IMO you can't.

It is strange to go back through this stuff as nothing of this scene has been a part of my life for a few years.

Keep punching, dont stand back after first punch,
Be as quick as possible,
If your tall try to stay on your feet,
Aim for jaw - knockout spot,

Be in a public place, when they're harassing you. Let go of your ego, walk up to them and be friendly, maybe smile, and sincerely ask them, why do they do this? Ask them if it helps them in anyway, ask them if its made their lives better. Who knows maybe they'll get scared, maybe they'll cry, maybe they'll leave you alone. Don't fight. Its not worth it. I've been in fights, and I just feel bad, because no matter who wins in the end, the guy who got his ass kicked the hardest always looks for a way to save face. IF you've ever seen American history X that movie is an extreme example. Guy blows smoke in another guys face only to be shot multiple times in the end. Both irrational and destructive behaviors. Just think about things...will it really matter in 10 years? how about 5? or 2? or 1? I'm sure your mobile service can block their numbers. But really ifyou have any testicular fortitude you'll simply have an honest non threatening conversation.
