went to gym to start my rippetoe's work

i can do my 3x5 squat sets of only 100lbs, but can legpress ~250 3x10

i can only bench 3x5 @ 130 (needed help on last on 2nd set, had trouble, and 3rd set last rep i just needed to refocus and got it up)

deads i felt my form being bad @ 145lbs

i can't stand myself. though i could do better. i can only look for improvement from here.

I'm assuming your mad at your strength?

What is your age, weight, height and training experience?

Dont worry about what your lifting, you will progress.

Lift with good form and push yourself and you will gain.

Eat a lot, don't get down on yourself, and either train or don't.
"On and off" is bull**** unless you're very sick or very injured.

Don't worry it will go up. I considered myself strong with iso exercises then I went to compound movements and it was night and day. I started off deadlifting around what you do. Squating around what you do. In about 2 months I am already squating around 150 and doing deads around 180. It will go up your body just has to start getting used to it. Leg presses only require you to lift the weight not balance it. Doing squats require you to lift it and balance it while going through a full range of motion totally different exercises. The difficulty is what makes you strong. Keep at it for a few months and just for kicks jump on a leg press again and you will be surprised how strong you have become because you will probably blow that 250 out of the water.

Yeah, give it time. Im 5'10" at 155lbs and i started off with all low low numbers. My bench is still a little lacking but i just read up on good bench form so im hoping that will improve. Same with squats, around 160-180. Deads though came to me pretty quickly after about 2 days of them and i just did 200lbs today. It will come just eat, sleep, give it 100%.

Everyone starts somewhere man. Look at the thread in general chat about where we first started to see that we all had to start from ground zero.

Yeah don't be so hard on yourself. And you are very young as well.

I guess it depends how seriously you want to take things, you shouldn't beat yourself up if you've only just started or don't train that often etc.

Lol then just give it time man. Don't put to much pressure on yourself. When I first started I couldn't bench more then 85 lbs, squat more than the bar and deadlift more than 95 lbs.

Perfect your form and motivate yourself by watching some vid's on youtube from elitefts or wherever. Lift heavy and keep eating. Be patient though, dude. You got nothing but time.

my legs are actually a bit sore, score. just ate 1 1/2 cheese steaks, about to drink my ~1100 calorie shake. (2nd of the day)

Man i started with worse #'s than you have right now. YOu just have to be consistent. I nearly tripled all my lifts when I just stop bitching and ate everything and lifted heavy....you hear it all the time but you just need to implement it (especially the eating!)
