I recently started taking Novadex RT about a week and a half ago. I started with 2 pills at night for 3 days, then moved up to 3 pills a night however, I started to notice that I was having blood in my stool. I wasn't sure if that was the direct cause of it so I stoped taking the pills for a period of 2 days and I've found that it's gone back to normal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything i can do about it? I'm already starting to feel better in the gym, I would hate to have to stop taking them.

Blood in stool means go see your doc.

pretty much.

OP - are you sure it's blood IN the stool, and not ON the stool? I don't think all blood hitting the toilet bowl is essentially a giant issue. If it's actually in teh stool then yeah, see a doc, regardless of whether it stopped after you stopped that product.

If it's blood ON the stool and you're getting blood on the tp (eww it's gross just typing it!) it can be from a hemmhorhoid or something like that, that wouldn't really be scary. If it's internal bleeding then the doc would be priority #1 in my book, even if it stopped upon product cessation. <good luck dude and don't put that off if it could be internal bleeding!>

Haha. This is a very gross topic to even post/talk about. With that said, I was monitering the stools closley and I saw that it was not in the actual stool. It was just in the toilet with the stool.

I have made an appointment to see my doc but I just wanted to see if this kind of thing had happened to anyone else and if it meant that I had to get off novadex.

Oh, and it was red blood.

good luck bro. I'm not sure what color the pills are but I do know something like Hydroxycut Hardcore will make your stuff look like blood.
On another note, I was recently diagnosed with IBD (Ulcerative Colitis). I hope this isn't your case.
If you have to get a colonoscopy, its a breeze. The prep is the worse part.
Good luck bro

if a colonoscopy is anything like an endoscopy, the prep sucks, but the beautiful drugs they give you more than makes up for it. They looked at my esophagus (I have chronic heartburn/reflux and there was concern about the condition of my esophagus), an endoscopy I think it was called, but they gave me intraveneous dilaudid or fentanyl (super cool/strong opiates) and versed (..supercool benzodiazepine) before I went down, that was some fun stuff!!!!!

<<of course the sick part is, they told me they found a hernia (I think that's what it was) after I came to, but of course I was still doped up and probably said 'thanks for letting me know'. Then I went home, thought everythign was peachy, only to find out later that I had a hernia or something, and of course I didn't remember because they told me that info when I was in friggin lala-land!!! Either way it was a great friggin day!

<<and to anyone who's gonna come in and act smart and say 'the half lives on those are so short they'd be out of ya in a few hours, so it wasn't a great day', can stop right there cuz I knew what I'd be getting for analgesia beforehadn and made sure to have some percocets available to ride out the strong opiates they gave me that morning, so yes, it was a beautiful day!!>>
