I'm a skinny guy weighing 123lbs and height is 5ft,6inches.

I wish to bulk up, but as far as supplements go, is Whey Protein Powder enough?

That's all i have here at home.

I have tried in the past trying to get the recommended daily protein my body needs but drinking about 3-4 shakes a day along with chicken and other foods never settles well in my stomach and has given me diarrhea.

So i guess i'm actually asking another question as well to the title of this post: How can I get the recommended protein daily intake without upsetting my stomach as well?

no just protien isnt enough. You need calories to gain weight. You really need to read up on basic bodybuilding nutrition.

How much do you think is the recommended daily protein intake for a person your size? The guidline is 1.5grams per lb of muscle. 200grams of protein should not be hard to eat in a day.

But you need to worry more about getting thouse calories. Eat Eat Eat and Eat some more

First of all, it's 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of LBM (lean body mass), not total body weight. However, 200 grams of protein is only 800 calories, so that really isn't very much. :P Once you get used to finding protein sources, getting that much protein gets pretty easy. It's a pain in the ass at first, though.

you really like to agrue the smallest details. Does it really matter if we use LBM or ABM? not really because this formula is a guidline to a daily protein intake minimum.

So ok lets use the LBM formula.
The human skeleton weights about 20% of total weight so
.20 x 126= 25.2

so that takes us down to around 100 lbs
1.5g x 100= 150 grams

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

The amount i suggested is over 150g of protein. Why are you disagreeing?
We both agree more is better, when it comes to protein. I suggested 200g because its a easly attainable and effective number to shoot for. Why are you nitpicking?
