All about food intake and proper training. There's no special supplement, just hard work and dedication.
Find a good training routine, find your maintenance cals and increase the amount you are eating accordingly. You should find that gaining those 20 lbs in that time frame is very doable. If you really want a supp, look into ALN's creatine monohydrate. Don't expect miracles out of it but it'll help.
Good luck.

Read up on the stickies in the diet and nutrition, supplements, and AtLarge nutrition threads. Also read the WBB articles. Use those to figure out your needed calories and post your results here.
now you just gotta do it.

I started lifting early june at 125lbs and I weighed in at 150 yesterday. Ive just been lifting big, eating lots, and I use ALN's creatine monohydrate. Honestly I probably coulda gained more weight but I have to do tons of cardio mon/wed/fri for the fire academy, also in the middle of my bulk I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
Basically what im getting at here is you dont need to spend 100$ of dollars on high priced supplements. :p

I'm about 6', not a guy who can lift naturally and instantly put on muscle (hard gainer!) and I've been lifting on and off for the past two years, but since I started taking lifting seriously (not playing sports anymore, however) 8 months ago I've put on roughly 18 pounds of what honestly isn't all muscle, but I still am sporting a 6 pack (so my bf content cant be that high...) so it can be done. I was only taking whey protein at the time.
Go with the Maximus Mass Stack if you want to be SURE youre hitting up 20+ in the next 9 mos, but my guess is you could do it with something like nitrean instead. TBH since I'm not a big guy I'm scared my heart would explode if I took too much maximus at any given time hahah

You will have to put some fat on to put that kind of muscle on. What are your reasons for gaining 20lbs of muscle? Just to get bigger? How much fat are you willing to put on. I'm sure you don't want a ton of fat, but what is acceptable to you? 20lbs in 9 months is easy, depending on what you really want from the weight gain. Hell, 20lbs in 6 weeks is pretty easy.

Eat more than your body needs for maintenance calories + calories needed for muscle growth = get fat.
