How do you tell how much caffeine there is in a product such as coffee or tea?

For the exact amount in it (varies by brands) contact the company by the 1-800 num and ask a representative.

well the reason im asking is because i dont like coffee. I do like tea, and i want to find the tea that contains the most caffeine. But i dont want to have to call every company to find out their caffeine content.

I was hoping there is a list or something.

Lipton black tea contains 55mg per cup. And its packed with antioxidants which is a plus! A cup of brewed coffee contains about 80mg varying between brands.

I like to drink tea an hour or so before working out, I've been told by a nutrition professor (and a experimental psych prof) that most teas contain 20-60mg of caffiene, depending on how many minutes you seep the bag.

with tea and coffee it will depend on how you brew it. And for organic products like that their is usually a decent variance. thats just a estimate based on samples from several batches.

Just brew it just like it says on the labeling and it will come out to the companys total caffeine content .
