I have noticed my body rejects certain multis. This has been happening since I was 16 (now 27) and baffles the hell out of me. I have taken a few multi from Cosco brand, Centrum, AST 32x, Animal Pak, and Natures best. Usually it is most of the multi packs that make me throw up after taking them, all except AP.

For the last couple of years I strictly stuck with AST and have never had the problem. But recently Target had a special on all multis so I picked up a large bottle of Centrum. When I took it at first everything was fine, but the last two days I have thrown up after taking the pill. I always take my pill with two fish caps immediatly after breakfast.
Does anyone know why certain multis would make me throw up?

BTW it isn't any type of gag problem, I usually throw up about 10 to 15 minutes after I have taken the pill.

I'd guess it has something to do with all the fillers and binders you find in a multi like Centrum but that is just a guess, of course

Maybe your supposed to have them with food or something?

to the OP, have you tried not taking the fish caps? Maybe it could be them rather than the multi.

Anything with green tea extracts make me sick. I haven't ever actually puked because of them but I get that hot feeling in my mouth with lots of salivation, etc... It's no fun.

I did try that actually. I took my two fish caps with breakfast. My multi came during my third feeding which was 4 oz chicken breast and a cucumber salad. I didnt throw up but I was damn close. I cured it by eating some crackers.

Have you tried liquid multi-vitamins. Almost all tablets give me stomachaches so I try to supplement as much as I can with liquid. This also holds true for softgels and capsules. Just try a liquid alternative and see how you feel afterwards.
