Do refeeds actually "reset" your metabolism while dieting? There seems to be a lot of controversey surrounding this topic. I am certainly no expert but I've come across books and articles that claim that leptin levels increase after a refeed or cheat day or days. Then there are articles I've come across saying that refeeds do very little to raise metabolism. Who is right? Are there any studies proving that refeeds do work? Any insight is greatly appreciated. thanks
