I mix my protien with milk becuase milk does the body good but I haven't heard of anybody doing that. It's not a problem is it? the back of the container says use water but it sucks with water. Does anybody use anything other than milk or water?

Yea, but it seems to be more of an allergy than a lactose problem. I can drink it, I just can't drink it in the quantities I'd have to in order to use it in shakes.

I rarely drink protein powder but when I do I mix it with water.

Normally I cook up 1/2 cup of oats and mix it in with the oats, or bake with it, or make bars, or pancakes, or waffles, or cookies, or muffins, or breads, or pudding or other tasty protein treats. Drinking protein powder is just so "blah".

I use gatorade quite often.

Postworkout I usually use 2 heaping tablespoons of whey + 4 heaping tbsp of gatorade powder + 1 heaping tsp <not tbsp> of creatine.

In the morning, with my smoothie, so liquids in that would be milk and coffee most often. Occasionally some V8 or iced tea, I like to throw random crap in to switch it up.

I've used gatorade before, I don't recommend it. I guess it depends what flavor of protein you have (I had chocolate).

Ohhh it is baad with chocolate!! I do this with strawberry currently and it's, well, better than chocolate? Can't use any positive adjectives to describe it or anything, but better than with chocolate. I almost always just use gatorade or nestle's quik powder with my proteins, gatorade for juice flavored proteins and quik for 'milk' type flavors (chocolate, vanilla, cookies/cream, etc).

Don't get me wrong, any gatorade + whey mix is almost inherently disgusting, I've never made one that didn't smell like ass, kind of hurt my stomach, and just taste generally awful. But it's not about the taste here

I do this also
Yea it doesn't taste exactly that good (pretty horrible to be honest), but taste doesn't really matter as long as I'm getting what my body needs.

If at home, I just use milk.
