Howdy folks. Been a member like a month and been a viewer just under two. Thought it was time I started a journal to get some feedback and help me keep track of my gains. I have a notebook that I keep track of stuff in but thought it would help to write some ideas/improvements down here.
I started lifting about 5 months ago and had no idea what I was doing. Whack-form benching, quarter squatting, curls, upright rows, the whole nine. Starting seeing guys in the gym making noise and doing stuff that just looked whack and unsafe and realized I was heading that way so I did some research and found some info. Around august I decided to get dedicated and picked up a routine for gains online.
Turned 22 on 8/21/07 and was 6'2'' 159lbs.
Started doing this routine.
MWF split.
OH press 3x12
Squat 1x20
Bench 3x12
BentRow 3x15
Deadlift 1x15
Shrugs 1xfailure
I started at really low weights and worked up a bit but then a few weeks ago picked up Starting Strength. Basically had to drop back down to get my form in check. I've gone up to 6'2'' 181lbs as of today, 11/28/07.
