Consider it food. Take it whenever you would eat food. Post-workout would be okay as well if you're looking for a concrete response, so I guess I'll vote for that. :thumbup:

Like SoP said, it is just food. This is just like asking what is the best time to eat. I would say between the time you wake up and the time you goto sleep would be a good time to take it.

i usally take it post workout (morning session), but only because i often times have to go somewhere and i cant cook a meal.

But you use it to supplement your total diet when ever needed

I didn't vote, didn't look at the poll, but your answer here is almost certainly after a workout. Your body's gonna be looking for calories then more than most any other time.

That being said, weightgainer is powdered food. It's useful for millions of things and I use a 'weightgainer'-ish approach every morning for breakfast, and I guess you could call my post workout drink a weightgainer. What the hell even classifies a weightgainer? Is my ~450 calorie postworkout shake that's basically whey+gatorade count as a weightgainer? I do put down 450 calories in 5 minutes, sounds like a weightgainer to me :)

I take 4 a day. Breafast, 2nd breakfast, pre wo, and post wo. It's just a meal substitute, just depends when you need them.

When I drink them, it's usually right before bed as my last 'meal' of the day. Like others already said, just drink it whenever you want.

imo most "weight gainers" are crap


check indregients, if u see something liek 100 cals per serving, 300 grabs of cabrs 50 grams of protein, check the back and see how much sugar is in them, they are usually packed with sugar and fat


do some research into them, with that said best time id say to take a weight gainer is breakfast, and post workout
