About a month ago, I had my physical for a new job.
My urine test came out with some extra protein. My doctor said I was taking in a little too much protein.

Im 5'10. 175 approx.

Back then I was takin in prrotein shakes of 50-60 grams protein.

Now I limited it to half.

I would eat meats rices and eggs a lot too though.

What you guys think

You're not eating too much protein. Drink more water (about a gallon or so a day). Enjoy your food.

I think that if your doctor actually found you had high protein levels in your urine and all he said was take in less protein instead of doing more tests or refering you to a specialist then he should lose his license. Really the only protein that should be found in your urine in any real amounts is albumin, if you have others or abnormally large amounts its an indicator of decling kidney function, Not high protein intake. Get a new doctor and go get it tested again, or get the test results and look at them yourself.

That would be a better idea. That hadn't even crossed my mind.
