on my back, on my right shoulder blade i have a lump. which sticks out of my body, only just appeared last 2days, hurts wen touched... any idea what it is?

is it red and elevated?I'm presuming it could be a boil.

Is it muscular or on or in the skin?

Muscle knots can be one thing, skin associated stuff is another. Either way, if it were big and worried me, I'd be on my way to the doctor.

its muscular definately, underneath the skin.

its big enough 2 stick out of my shoulder blade (even though i am quite skinny atm)

is it really that bad?!!!! cudnt it just be a muscle knot or something? its like, the size of a 1p coin wide, and not sure how far it sticks out, its hard 2 tel wen its behind me!!

Nobody reading your description in a forum will be able to properly diagnose you. No one is psychic enough to tell you what you have or how serious it is. A doctor, on the other hand, will be able to see it and help you much better.

no knows and that's the point. If you're thread starts with "URGENT" then you should see a doc. It's really that simple.

i know can diagnose it, i just was wandering if anyone had had a similar thing so could help me know what it is! im gnna wait a few days more, and if it doesnt change go see a doc?

You have a painful anomaly on your body.
No one here can help you, no matter how well you describe your problem, or even if someone here has had the exact same thing happen to them.
Go see a doctor.

No duh...

Just saying from my experience. Once my coach worked it out it was tender then fine.
