Just wanted to let you all know that back on July 17th 2007 I weighed in at 420 pounds. That is the day I started my diet, my long term goal was to lose 100 pounds.

Well today I officially met that goal, I got on the scale today and it read 320 pounds. That is exactly 100 total pounds lost, now I figure I got about another 35 to go to get to 285 and then maintain there. That away if need be I can drop 10 pounds of water before the contest and make weight in the 275's :)

I'll post pics soon!!!! But here is a before to remind all of you what 400 plus looked like. I fouind the shirt I was wearing in this pic it was a 4xl, I can swim in it now :)

Oh and that is Mr Smith in the pic with me

I gotta get one, I'm gonna put on the same shirt as in the pic above. It will prolly be tomorrow.

The strength has taken a bit of a hit, but so be it. I have been focusing on getting my weight down and after the first of the year we start a new strength cycle for the contest in April.

Mike, that's an amazing transformation, man. Can't wait to see the "now" pic. Just curious, but how tall are you? I'd imagine pretty tall to have managed to carry 420 lbs to start with.

I'm not sure how much strength I have lost totally. Guess we will find out at my next contest. But I'm gonna be honest with everyone I feel GREAT and really aint owrried to much aobut it right now.

I will start a strength training cycle after the first of the year and plan on competing in April or May. I am in no rush right now I just wanna lean out and then shoot for some BIG numbers.

Also I wanna take a minute to thank Chris from ALN he has been on my side for most of this trip. If something stalled out Chris was right there to figure out what was going on and get my butt back on track. Chris and ALN played a HUGE part in al of this!!! THANKS CHRIS!!!!!
