I would imagine you could do partial or even full deadlifts with all kinds of heavy stuff you find in rural areas. Farming equipment, large stones, feed sacks.

A pair or two of bands would be easy to take and you can do a lot with them.

I'd probably haul a kettlebell along, but that's just me.

Haha of course you would Sensei :P. That is actually a really good idea however. Swings, snatches, cleans, presses, turkish get ups, windmills, heck even curls if you wanted to.

Kettlebell, bands, river rocks, squats with your buddy over your shoulders, deadlift the backend of your bike, take an army duffle bag with you empty and fill it whenever you stop. All kinds of ideas, you just have to get creative.

If you will have access to cars or trucks you can practice pushing them.
