Could be. I think the suit is just too tight and pulling my shoulders forward at the top. I haven't pulled in a suit for over 6 months and I was almost 20lbs lighter then.

I've been out sick with strep for the last 2 days so I didn't get any of my bench or squat assistance in this weekend. Leaving for Florida Wednesday night.

Despite still being a little sick, I convinced myself that I'm not going to touch in this shirt by sleeping on the couch.

135 - 8
225 - 5
*add Rage X*
315 - 3 all high
405 - 3 all high
455 - 2 missed the third at lockout, all were high

Floor press reverse mini bands
225 - 8,8,5,5

Gm's bottom start against blues and greens

bar - 3
135 - 3
225 - 2


A good night. I blew a nose gasket during the 405 bench which was pretty cool. The 455's were about a two board away, so I think I'll be able to touch this weight within a few weeks, which could make this a potential opener for the meet in may.

**** man, sorry for not coming out. I didnt realize the time when I finished dinner, and had already trained earlier. I probably should have came though. I'll be there next week. and possibly thursdays now too since hockey is done.


Nice workout btw, I'm sure you'll touch that thing soon enough when you get more used to it.

I'm flying down to Florida tonight, and hopefully driving back up by the weekend so I'm home in time for benching monday night. I NEED to start stretching and taking care of myself a little better, because all this sickness and injury crap is getting to me. I need a solid 8 weeks of training to get anything accomsplished for the meet.

Hopefully my suit and briefs are here when I get back.

It was alright I guess.

I went to Universal Studios for the low low price of $180 US for admission for two people. To be honest I was dissapointed. There were only a few roller coasters and for the price it wasn't worth it. I had a hard time fitting in some of the seats. Canada's Wonderland is better.

The drive back was long, 25 hours straight through.

I haven't trained in two weeks.

I had strep throat for a week, then I went down to Florida. I feel like a weak piece of crap. But it's full steam ahead for the meet in two months.

375 - 3, all high
415 - 3, all high
450 - touched, but missed
405 - 3, first two were high, third one touched PR
405 - 1, Good lift.

I'm happy I touched. Time to jack this **** up.

Worked up to a PR squat single at 625 in full gear.

Squat - 545 (just suit, no briefs)
Bench - 407
Deadlift - 475

I'm not going much over 500 for deadlifts. My back has become weak from lack of training, and injuring it by trying to do something stupid at a meet won't make my life any better. I'm going to step back, get back into my assistance training, and blow a 600 deadlift out of the water. I think I'm also good for a 700 squat and a 500 bench later this year, maybe early next year, we'll see how training goes.

I've also discovered that the internet is gay, which is why I haven't been posting.

3rd - 626 good lift (easy)

2nd - 440 (no lift)
3rd - 440 (got it up, but no lift)
