View Full Version : Need to drop weight asap.

Well... turns out the bastards want me to be a 94 for a while and not a 105.

The 105 is heavily dominated by aniter lifter, and the 94s are a much ore competetive class that would give me a much better experience.

Basically I need to go from 230 to 206 in 6 weeks, prefferably less so I don't have to dry out before weighing in.

For the most part I am thinking very very low carb diet.

6 meals a day, protein and healthy fats.

Staples will include
Fish
eggs
more fish
milk
brocolli and other fibre filled veggies
fishies
Chicken
Cow
Fish and fish.

Just wanted to hear general opinions on reaching a lean 200 in 6 weeks, I will be tracking diet down to the dot and am shooting for 2200 and less a day.

Buil and anyone else?

24lbs of fat would mean you need a total of 82,000 calories you need to burn on top of what you eat.

Thats 13,500 cals a week or about 2000 a day. Good luck.

I would do a PSMF style diet to drop the weight fast. Then manipulate water the last few days. It not hard to dry out 10lbs when you are our size Fuzzy.

PSMF is the only real option here.

drain a bunch of blood before weigh in then pump it back in, that seem like a lot of weight to loose in 6 weeks, water weight loss is about your only hope, but still with that and fat loss seems like a streach

Hardly.

I think you will be fine Fuzzzy, I imagine your maintenance could easily be in the 4k/day range. You should have no trouble dumping 2-3lbs a week and then knocking off the last few lbs of water weight before the comp.

I trained with guys that weight 220 and would compete at 198, If they can lose 22lbs of water 2 days before a comp I'm sure you can drop 15lbs of fat in 6 weeks and another 9-10lbs of water the last few days.

PSMF sounds like the best bet for you Fuzz.
