Extremely picky.
How important really is diet to getting bigger and stronger (I'm 14 years old right now).

Because if it is really that important I'm willing to change everything pretty much about my diet but I'm not 100% sure what to do?

To get bigger you just need to eat more.

if you want to be a better athlete it might be beneficial to not live off of junk food, though.

You 14 and a picky eater... thats nothing new. Youll grow out of it if you try other foods.

Pick everything you like to eat and eat a lot of it. Make a list of all your favorite foods. This is a pretty good list of foods ~>

I think if you bulk slowly and keep up with your speed training, your body will adjust to the new weight and you can keep your speed and add mass. I've seen guys weighing 250 smoke a 40. It just takes dedication, because it is harder to gain weight if you are expending all your calories running. Eat.

You are 14, eat tons, lift, play sports, run around, chase the muff around. You have plenty of time to worry about the details.

Just to clarify just how rediculous my current diet is.
I live off:
french fries
chicken tenders
mac n cheese
grill cheese
thant kind of stuff

no eggs
barely any red meats
no vegetables


I have the diet of a first grader.

I am posting this because you are all saying eat the same but more.
But what I am eating now is not that great.

So if I changed this all around to a better diet would it be substantial?

Try new foods... It will grow on you.

Cover your veggies with cheese... eat pasta with meat sauce... make homemade pizza with veggie toppings... eat homemade burgers! How can you not like steak? Just force yourself to try new things. I was EXACTLY the way you are now when I was your age. I am not 20 and eat everything under the sun :)

Yes it would be substantial. Eat meat and fish to get protein, you need the stuff to build muscle. It will also be substantial to overall health.
