I have been buying my protein at a local grocery store. Yesterday I bought one and found alot of plastic I shape(tiny size). I can tell cause it is chocolate and the thing is white. I went back and exchange it and got another one. Same thing. Has anyone have this problem?

If it's big enough to bend, it's probably not the best idea to consume it. My guess is it's an extra piece that was supposed to become part of the container. Was there just one, or multiple pieces?

Sounds like the new "Extreme Plastic Growth Powder" to me..

Also, pretty much any chocolate whey I've had I've noticed little white specs... Dunno what they are...

Body Fortress 100% Premium Whey Protein.

I have been buying them for the last 6 months and never had this problem. The store batch is probably all bad.

I am guessing it is part of the plastic scope that they drop in. But it is tiny bits that is everywhere when I shake the container.

i'd contact body fortress, they'll probably replace your jug of protein.

no need i have the same stuff, the pieces of "plastic" aren't pieces of plastic at all, and they're incredibly tiny anyway, it's probly just bcaa's or protein....

Yeah, I had BF too and plastic never even occurred to me... figured they were BCAAs.

I've been using the BF whey for a while. I was kind of freaked out when those little white shiny things showed up. They dissolve so they aren't plastic. If you check the ingredients of a tub without them against a tub with them you will notice that they have started putting creatine mono in it. They are pretty big chunks for creatine, but that is the only change I could find. They are in the vanilla too. They didn't used to be.

Thanks.......I have been buying this every 2 weeks or so for the last 6 months. I switch to vanilla and don't see it, or it is harder to notice.

I thought BF protein had creatine in it too, small amounts? Not for sure but maybe it will make you bigger, drink up:)

That's strange, I just checked the ingredients and it does indeed have Creatine Monohydrate in it. It's weird cuz the rest of the tub says nothing about Creatine at all. I'm guessing there are just trace amounts though.

How strange to read this...just this morning I found I little bit of plastic in my protein whilst drinking. I buy MP Max Whey Protein from myprotein.co.uk

Nitrean has that too. I'm not too worried about it.

Doesnt mix very well...I always was drinking little chunks but I got a "blender bottle" and shake the hell out of it in there and its perfectly fine now.

Mixes fine for me. Matter of fact, it mixes and tastes better than my ON Whey.

I just noticed this in my Nitrean shake this morning. I definitely didn't see these white specs in my ON 100% protein. I figure it must be either the egg or casein seeing as ON 100% doensn't contain either. Also, I don't see how the specs could be BCAAs considering both brands contain them.

just a though.
