Is this a true fact that you should try and keep a 2(carbs):1(protein) ratio when putting mass on...?

There's no set % rule.

Read around in some of the articles or search for details on this.

I've always read the 2 to 1 ratio personally, but i don't follow it, i just try to make sure i get my 200 grams in daily and that I have carbs from whole grains, fruits, and veggies.........

Stop using ratios.

1g/lb of LBM for Protein
.5g/lb of LBM for Fat
Carbs fill in the rest of your cals.

Arnoldsclone: Where is this ratio coming from?

Also keep in mind the rest don't have to be carbs, the protein and fat numbers are just minimums.

fill in the rest of your cals with anything else (except probably alcohol:tuttut: ).

wouldn't this be more appropriate?
