on my mountain bike, that is.

My goal: Increase functional strength to help with body (and bike) control for downhill racing season.

Started Rippetoe's program 3 weeks ago and needed to get my progress off the scrap of paper I keep in my gym bag and onto somewhere more permanent.

Workout A x 2:

Squat - 3 x 5 x 95
Bench - 3 x 5 x 75
Deadlifts - 1 x 5 x 75
Dips - 2 x 8 w/ 40 w.a.


Workout B x 1:

Squat - 3 x 5 x 95
Standing Military Press - 3 x 5 x 45
Pendley Rows - 3 x 5 x 55
Chin-ups - 2 x 8 w/ 50 w.a.


Just trying to get my bearings week 1 and figuring out my 5 rep max.
