Hey guys I am using the fit day program to figure out how many calories/fat/carbs/protein I am taking in a day. When I add a custom food, one of the things it asks for is "alcohol" in grams. Is this sugar alcohols? No where on there do I see a place to add sugars, so I assumed this is for sugars. Is this true? Can someone help me out?

carbohydrate = sugar.

I understand, but on the fitday chart there is a carbs part where I just plug in the carbohydrates that was on the nutrition fats on the actual food carton. So Alcohol means like "beer" alcohol and not sugar alcohol? Because there is no where to put the actual "sugars" part that is on the carton.

correct. they're talking about booze alcohol, because that sub-category of carbohydrate contains 7calories per gram, while other carbs are only 4calors a gram (or for insoluble fiber, a net of 0 calories per gram)
