I started working out 9/04/07. This is what I looked like that day before my first work out.

Looks like some decent arm development as compared to the first pic.

Youre on the right path but still got a bit of work to do. You have a very long and flared lower midsection which presents an asymmetrical appearance. I would focus on spreading that back out quite a bit to help even it out. Also I can't see the chest development in the last pic, but it appears that you need a lot of develop there as well.

Im going to start dead lifts soon so that should help out with that right?
Ill also start doing chest twice a week.

Well deadlifts are a great overall exercise for your back. But in your case I would focus more on rows and pullups to help achieve a nice spread. Your lower midsection is wider than your back when it should be the opposite.

You dont have to do chest twice a week, once is good. But you can supplement a good chest workout with pushups throughout the week. From your arm development it looks like your body is responding well to exercise. Be consistent and I think you can get some good gains.

Like Abe said, you don't have to do chest twice a week, but you can...just do everything twice a week. Using a 4 day split like WBB 1.1 or BGB means you end up hitting everything twice a week and still getting plenty of rest time.

It works for some people, for others it doesn't. You probably aren't far enough along to be able to really tell what works best for you so feel free to experiment.

As far as your progress so far, I don't really see anything besides some arm development, though part of that might be that the pictures suck.

Thats all that matters man is that you feel good about your progress. In my opinion I see a large difference. Just keep up the hard work and stay away from the mirror and scale, seems to make the progress move faster.

Your lats are some of the largest muscles in your body... so working on those will make a huge difference and give you that "v" shape everyone wants

Thanks for the compliment.
